The location was perfect for our family's love of outdoor activities. We enjoyed golfing, snorkeling, and windsurfing, all within a short distance from the hotel. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for our family. Michelle, the owner, was extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. We highly recommend Capeblue Manor House for families looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Lakeside.
For dads, it would be great to have a kids' play area on the property.

Our stay at Capeblue Manor House was simply amazing. The location was quiet and peaceful, and the rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We loved the attention to detail in the design of the guest house. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious and satisfying. The owners, Michelle and Alan, were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel like part of their family. We even had the opportunity to join them for a meal, which made our experience truly special. The location of the guest house was also perfect for exploring the Cape Peninsula and other attractions in Cape Town. The parking lot felt safe and secure with the automatic gate. we highly recommend Capeblue Manor House for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
The only minor drawbacks were that the pool, although surrounded by beautiful trees, would sometimes accumulate leaves, making it look slightly less appealing. Additionally, there were only chairs and no sunbeds in the pool area, which would have been a nice addition for relaxation.

Wow! What a great experience. The location is just perfect. The hotel is so close to the beach and it only takes a short drive. The rooms are really clean and well decorated. I liked the big bed and the coffee machine. Breakfast was nice as well. The staff is awesome, very friendly, and helpful. They gave us the best recommendations for activities to do nearby. The parking lot is quite big and feels completely secure. I loved how the hotel was surrounded by trees, it makes you feel like you are in the wilderness. Definitely a hidden gem!
The only downside I found was that the pool area only had chairs and not sunbeds, I would have really enjoyed that. , because the hotel is surrounded by trees, some leaves end up in the pool sometimes, making it look dirty.

I loved the location in this quiet residential area, close to the city center and the metro rail station. The hotel was sparkling clean and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The parking lot was spacious and felt very safe, with an automatic gate. Plus, the breakfast was delicious!

We had a lovely romantic escape. the rooms were clean and spacious, and we particularly appreciated the tub for two. the location was just right for us - not too far from the city or the beach. We were able to order fresh, delicious breakfast and enjoy it outside on the patio with a beautiful view. the staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities.
the pool area was surrounded by trees, which added to the beauty but also meant leaves and debris ended up in the water.

The bed was comfy and the bathroom was well-appointed. the location is good for those wanting to be close to the beach, with Muizenberg beach just a short drive away. the area is also close to other beaches and within reach of Cape Town city centre. the breakfast was decent and the staff is friendly, with an honesty bar available.
The room lacked air conditioning, and there was no bar fridge in the room.
